Job Description


JOB PURPOSE

As Manager Marketing Analytics you are responsible for leading marketing strategy projects, including managing day-to-day activities and client relationships, and driving core assessment and strategy deliverables. You will identify best practices and frameworks for enhancing the quality of work across the capability. Also, the manager participates in creating thought leadership collateral and identifying and managing core capability development initiatives provide analysis that informs and improves the effectiveness of planning, execution and optimization of marketing strategy. You will tie optimization metrics to the strategic intent of campaigns and the underlying business objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Assessment

Identify appropriate activities and key deliverables across marketing strategy & analysis offering to meet client marketing and business challenges

Create deliverable templates and assessment evaluation criteria to guide assessment process

Synthesize and analyze assessment key findings to develop insights and recommendations to drive marketing strategy

Marketing Strategy & Planning

Develop deliverable frameworks and guide development of core marketing strategies, including:

o Pilot Program Development

o Customer Segmentation Strategy

o Sales / Marketing Lifecycle Development

o Concept Modeling

o Web/Domain Strategy using dominant web analytic tools (Webtrends, Omniture, Coremetrics, Unica, Google)

o E-commerce/POS/Pop Strategy

o Marketing Strategy

o CRM Strategy

Identify best practices and recommendations from marketing assessment findings to help client address key business and marketing challenges

Develop short-term quick wins and longer-term roadmaps for activating marketing strategies

Thought Leadership

Identify marketing and marketing strategy trends and best practices

Generate and develop points of view and thought leadership pieces

Create business development and marketing collateral

Present white papers, points of view and other best practices material at conferences

Business Development

Support business development activities and client proposals

Build relationships with senior clients and identify new business opportunities

Client and Project Management

Create strong working relationship with clients in marketing strategy & analysis roles.

Serve as project lead for marketing strategy engagements and manage all client deliverables.

Facilitate meetings, working sessions and workshops

Frequent overnight travel may be required

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Strong knowledge with metrics and concepts used in online, email, and search engine marketing

Strong communication and presentation skills

Exceptional attention-to-detail

Excellent quantitative skills and the ability to evaluate data objectively

Experience leading reporting system projects through entire lifecycle

Proven ability to perform in-depth analysis, compile and interpret results

Proven ability to present strategies and make recommendations to senior management

Business Knowledge:

Domain experience would be a plus.

EXPERIENCE

8-12 Years

Several years of relevant experience including supervisory experience

EDUCATION

Full time Bachelor’s /Master’s degree (Science or Engineering preferred)
